We are incredibly grateful for the impact Laura has had on our daughter Jessica’s figure skating journey. Training with Laura was one of the most important parts of my skating journey. I had the privilege of working with her for several years before leaving for college, and I can honestly say her impact goes far beyond the ice. Laura has an incredible depth of knowledge and a unique ability to bring out the best in her students. She not only helped me improve technically, but also taught me discipline, confidence, and how to approach challenges with the right mindset. Even now, in college, I still carry the lessons she taught me. Her dedication, attention to detail, and genuine care for her skaters made a lasting impression on me. Текст отзываI took lessons from Laura for most of my competitive skating career, where she fixed all of my single jumps and helped me achieve up to double flip. She is a very kind and supportive coach and I still use exercises she taught me to this day! I have taken what I learned from Laura both on and off the ice with me in my collegiate skating career! She taught me how to have discipline, confidence, and to push myself to work hard at something even if I didn’t think I could. If I am ever back in the bay area I would definitely train with her again!

I can't recommend Laura highly enough! I was easily one of the oldest skaters Laura has ever trained at the basic level, but she managed to built a strong foundation of edge control, speed and posture. She knew how to break down complex techniques into manageable pieces and focused not just on technical proficiency, but also on artistry and building self-confidence. Laura is highly skilled, very patient, hugely professional. As a bonus, she has a great deal of understanding of complicated workings of both national and international figure skating competitions. The latter is a significant positive idifferentiator for any parent/ guardian who nurtures their child's aspirations to enter the highly-competitive world of figure skating championships. In conclusion: Laura's ability to make difficult skills fun has helped me to maintain and strengthen my genuine love for this challenging but exciting sport. It has been such a great privilege getting to know and work with Laura. There was not a dull moment to slip away unfulfilled. She is able to quickly identify talent and potential and work it all the way till the best and polished version of it emerges… gracefully. What you might see as sleek and perfect performance was built and developed with so much efforts, dedication and commitment. Laura is a person of goals and achievements. And she is willing to deliver it even if sacrifices are made. Her approach does not rely on compromising the work and she would expect the same from students coaching them all the way to the top. Ever since I began working with Laura, she was always 100% committed toward what’s best for me in my skating journey. With her, it was never just about results but rather genuine growth of both skill and character.
